RTHK actively
seeks out new platforms to carry RTHK programmes for audience
reach. Currently, RTHK programmes can be seen on Hong Kong
Cable TV, Hong Kong Broadband TV and a number of 3G mobile
phones services. RTHK produces public affairs television programmes
which are broadcast predominantly by commercial stations.
In 2005-06, RTHK's Public Affairs TV will:
䄰 serve as the Host Television Broadcaster for the 6th Ministerial Conference of the World Trade Organization in Hong Kong;
䄰 explore co-production and exchange opportunities with different partners, in particular with mainland broadcasters on mainland related topics, especially in the production of documentary programmes;
䄰 continue to support the creative industries by producing "A Century of Light and Shadow" to |
|
commemorate the centennial of film in China and by opening up more platforms to prospective producers through increasing our commissioning output in drama and documentary; and
䄰 further extend audience reach by scheduling current programmes on pay television and other platforms. |
